The Bremen Town Musicians
In the beloved cartoon "The Bremen Town Musicians" by G. Gladkov, Yu. Entin, and V. Livanov, fashion and popular characters from the 1960s, witty caricatures, and parodies are combined with a blend of fairy tales and modernity. This production, directed by Nikolai Markelov and designed by Sergey Novikov, is an experiment in its own right.
The core of the story is, of course, the tale of love, but it also includes the desire to become famous and captivate the audience, to become a star! This is a subject for imagination. Maybe the Bremen musicians aren't necessarily animals, and their names are creative pseudonyms or nicknames?…
