Romeo and Juliet

Prokofiev's ballet "Romeo and Juliet" has become a true classic, but at one time, his music did not resonate even with the first performers, including the legendary "first Juliet," Galina Ulanova. However, later on, this role became significant for Ulanova, as she admitted, "After playing Juliet, I stopped dancing in such highly conventional ballets as 'Raymonda' or 'The Sleeping Beauty.'"
